Unfortunately you cannot change the default "default" selection in the current version of QuickUpdate.
We will take this into account for the next version release though.

I know QuickUpdate allows me to update percent and amount. But by default amount is selected. Is there an option that I can auto-select percent?

Basically QuickUpdate allows you yo update both "percent" and "amount" discounts

You do not actually need access to your php.ini file or modify it for that matter, just add the following line at the beginning of the "/modules/quickupdate/quickupdatebase.php" file:

@ini_set('zlib.output_compression', 0);

This solution should work for most cases if no specific restrictions are set on the server.

For the Theme you have installed, selecting "bottom" style should be the fix and the only solution for that matter.

I was asked to integrate this module in a webshop. I was testing it but I don't see an option to auto select a % discount the module autoselect amount is there a option to edit this?
