Where is the "reduction %" column under PS 1.4.x ??

I was about buying QuickUpdate for my needs under PS 1.4.4.1.

I saw a demo on "prestashop addons" website and found here the updated version running 1.4.x version of PS... and I do not find anymore an essential data for me : the discount %.

What's the trick to have it displayed ? This reduction % is a must have for my needs.

Hi Matthieu,

The reduction column is not available for PS 1.4 (read the module description) because PS 1.4 has a more complex reduction system that previous versions.

We want to maintain compatibility of QuickUpdate with most versions of PS so we implemented different features depending on the PS version.

We are planning on releasing a specific plugin which will help with the complex pricing and reduction system of PS 1.4

OK... so when this plugin might become available and at which price (it is a must have for me, and buying QU without this plugin would daramticaly decrease my interest for QU as my shop prices are all based on this reduction % value, for all my products) ?

Hi Matthieu,

Any future plugin for QuickUpdate will be priced 30-40E. Of course the functionality of the plugins will have specific targets but will greatly improve on ceratin areas of the module.

Estimated time for this plugin is 2-4 weeks.

OK thanks for the feedback. I then bought Quick Update and wait for the reduction plugin.

PS: I found a strange behaviour with Google Chrome & Attribute edit window... it is unusable and displays no information (works fine under Firefox). You should check

Thanks for the feedback - the attributes window bug is recently known and will be fixed in the upcoming release of QuickUpdate. Indeed it seems to affect only the Chrome browser.
