Just as I thought I'd cracked it, it turns out this isn't working in Safari.  I click the connect button and nothing happens - the window for logging in into Facebook doesn't open.

Well this is weird - it's not workgin at all now when I click on the button - Firefox, IE or safari.  Was working fine an hour ago and I tested it successfully when I went live with it!

OK, apparently Perms should now be called Scope.  I changed this on the fb:login-button but it causes the log in window to open on safari and you fill in the form, but are not logged in.  On Firefox, the log in window briefly appears then disappears...seriously have Facebook changed tehir API in the last two hours?!!!

EDIT...hmm, it seems they have! http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/614/

Following the instructions, I have added oauth : true to FB.init and changed response.session to response.authResponse.  I'm getting somewhere except that it logs in then straight back out again.  Also, on logging out I get the error: FB.logout without access token

I do hope you will be issuing a fix ASAP as apparently this API change was initially issued in July with a deadline of October to change over and your latest module had not taken these changes into account!

Hi Lisa,

As you already know, a new version of the Facebook Connect module is already available.
There is a list of reasons of why we did not update the modules for the latest API until now but it is not the case to post it here.

So the good news is that the Facebook Connect modules should be fine now with the new Facebook API changes.

Best regards.
