[The module interface]

The translation of the FCA module consists of 2 distinct parts:

1. The module interface - made of the "Publish on Facebook" dialog and related messages -> this part can be translated using the Prestashop translations as any other module (detailed in the user manual)

2. The FB pop-up dialogs and messages - this is usually detected by the module automatically, but sometimes it isn't as in your case so please send an email to our support with some FTP credentials, so i can customize it a bit for you.

We have a similar problem, the facebook connect affiliation does not show its interface in our website http://www.jockeyshop.fr

[QuickUpdate v3.8]

New features in QuickUpdate v3.8:

1. Compatibility with the new Prestashop v1.4 - this is a transition version, which provides a little different functionality for PS1.4 compared to the other PS versions. Reductions updating is not available in this release of QuickUpdate for shops using PS1.4, but still available for the other shops using previous versions of PS.
2. Number display precision - this affects all numbers in the QuickUpdate interface, based on your shop's 'price display precision' setting. So if you have a pdp of 3 for example, all numbers in QuickUpdate will have 3 decimals.
3. Rapid add products - a very useful feature which allows you to add products from inside QuickUpdate. It allows creating of an unlimited number of products to which you can edit the same number of features as QuickUpdate offers.
4. Category updating - edit the product category for any of the products individually or mass-edit.
5. Undo functionality - allows you to revert back any modifications you made to a product. Works on a product by product base (not field by field), for an unlimited number of products, if the modifications were not already saved.
6. Faster description editing - by providing a new arrangement of the WSYIWYG for descriptions, they fit in one single line and can be edited faster than before.
7. Keep layout configuration - the new version remembers the layout of the product and attribute tables as well as sorting and filtering across uses. So now if you consider you do not need to edit a product feature from inside QuickUpdate (for example EAN13), you can hide the whole column, and it will not appear the next time you start QuickUpdate. This is set to last for 7 days, and will reset afterward.
8. Added new product columns - Now you can edit "Reduction From", "Reduction To" (for PS v1.1 - v1.3 only) and "UPC", "Width", "Height", "Depth" (for PS v1.4 only)
9. Added new attribute columns - Now you can edit "UPC" (PS 1.4 only) and "EAN13" for product attributes.
10. Improved speed - increased the speed of executing by various code optimizations and settings
11. Improved loading speed - decreased the loading speed by optimizing for smaller code, compression and eliminating various errors on loading (which did not affect functionality but loading time)
12. Fixed async loading problem - the previous version of QuickUpdate had an issue with not displaying the modified fields properly (even though they were modified in the shop). This issues is now fixed int this version.
13. Allow o few more characters for references fields - added the allowing of characters like "-" and "/" in reference fields.

A little update on the install instructions for the FCA module based on tests:
- as you know, the module archive has 2 versions of the module, "normal" and "PS_131", and you should install following this guide:
    NORMAL: PS v1.1 - PS v1.3.0.3
    PS_131:  >PS v1.3.0.3

Based on feedback, the following problem seems to be also rather popular:

Affected:
Websites that have additional FB related modules or scripts

Solution:
Make sure that no other FB related module or script in your website has the following line of code inside

Dots mean any number of character combinations, code can be similar and not EXACTLY the same as the one presented.

I also buy facebook connect Affiliation 4.5

I install it, make Facebook API, when i click login and insert my facebook email and password it login and show my facebook name, But it not login on my site, i cannot access my account page, and also upon checkout i need to login and enter all the data.

The short answer, as a conclusion from you email also is: Please first try to follow the user manual and ask for specific problems after that is you do not manage. The steps for the module and application setup are there!!

The connect is not shown on the webpage.

After several sessions the conclusion is that the module does not work properly because of some database problems of the shop. Customdata (Martin) - please contact our live support so we can continue to solve any other issues that remained from the last session (if any).

To create some consistency, i am adding the reply email to this thread, as the issue has been solved after all:

No thanks I solved, it was the fact that for 1 product it isn't selected the default category, but I have seen it only updating one by one.

["Facebook Fan Page"]

A common problem for the FacebookConnect and FCA modules we found is the incompatibility with a module named "Facebook Fan Page" or similar.
This module (or at least some versions) has some coding written for the older Facebook API and prevents the Facebook Connect / FCA module from working at all.

If you have the Facebook Connect / FCA module installed on your site and not working AND the Facebook Fan Page module is installed, you need to remove the Facebook Fan Page module.

Fortunately, we got some feedback regarding a similar module which seems to be working properly. You can download it from here: Facebook Like Box.

[The problem:]

A common problem we found regarding the functionality of QuickUpdate is that customers install the application and do not get anything displayed on the screen.

The problem:
Prestashop has a configuration setting in "/config/config.inc.php" named "display_errors", which comes standard as "off". This setting should be set to "on" only for debugging purposes.

The solution:
If this setting is set to "on", edit "/config/config.inc.php" and change it to "off"
