Hi,

I noticed, after a quick update, that product indexation was not updated.

ie : if you update 15 products, and save. Go to preferences-> search and you could see that 15 products are missing. You should click on rebuild to get index fully functional.

Is there a way to do reindexation auto on save ?
Method is Search::indexation();
parameter is 1 for full indexation

Hi Raynald,

Adding this for updating products is very time-consuming when updating products - will add at least a few seconds if not even minutes to every update, depending on the number of products you have.

For the time, the best solution is to "You can set a cron job that will re-build your index using the following URL", as mentioned in the Prestashop BackOffice>Preferences>Search section.

Alternatively, if you really want this functionality and works optimal for you, you can add "Search::Indexation(false)" in the database.php file around line 665 (before $this->total = count....... line)
